Pre-Owned Watches Terms & Warranty Information

Please note that your 12 month Robert Gatward Warranty covers mechanical defects 12 months from the date of purchase. 

The Warranty does not cover the following:
  • Theft of the watch
  • Loss of the watch
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Any damage (accidental or deliberate)
  • Water damage
The warranty will be deemed invalid if any works are carried out on the watch whilst under warranty unless authorised by Robert Gatward Jewellers.

We have completed a condition report on each of our pre-owned watches, and categorised these under a condition report scale of the condition we consider the watch to be in. Please see these described below:

Mint - No signs of wear.

Excellent - Minimal signs of wear difficult to see with the naked eye.

Very Good - Small signs of wear. 

Good - Signs of wear and/or slight scratches.

Fair - Obvious signs of wear and scrathces.

Poor - Heavy signs of wear and scratches.

Incomplete - Missing components, non-functional.

Our pre-owned watches are sanitised in an LED UV Lightbox as part of our quality control and dispatch process.
